Kanan Kapila has always had a passion for helping people, which led her to a career as a therapist and yoga teacher with a focus on well-being through all stages of life. Born in India, the birthplace of Yoga, Kanan was introduced to physical and mental health through her upbringing and lifestyle. Melding her psychotherapy training with yoga, meditation, and a holistic healing approach, Kanan has designed her own unique practice of well being and become a leading expert for body, mind, spiritual awareness.
Kanan founded The Vastu Yoga, based on the classical and therapeutic teachings of a well aligned yoga practice. Kanan approaches Yoga as an art form. Her yoga classes are rhythmic and robust, integrating energizing and restorative movements with clear attention to what is present in body constitution, mindset, and the breath.Through meaningful teachings and a steady practice, yoga and the supportive modalities clearly informs us that we can strengthen and refine the shape and quality of our body, mind and heart.

Holistic Psychotherapy
An integrated approach to therapy that offers skillful insight to support the healthy interaction between the processes of the mind, body, and spirit to bring growth and healing. Holistic Psychotherapy merges various methods of healing that safely support you with understanding, respect, appreciation, and joy. As with all psychotherapy, the primary focus is the treatment of psychological stressors, emotional pain, and behavioral challenges that create imbalance in the person’s life. Mindfulness & Meditation
Practice of bringing a person’s full attention to the present moment while experiencing the habitual patterns of the mind; how the thoughts and emotions emerge unknowingly. The person is guided with this increased awareness to make choices that are consciously in alignment with their overall wellbeing.
Virtual Sessions stand alone or add-on, 30-45 mins

RTT Hypnotherapy
Rapid Transformational Therapy uniquely combines the beneficial principles of Psychotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) to gain access to the subconscious mind so the person can come to understand what is bringing about the unwanted habits, behaviors and beliefs. Once the person is aware of the root causes then the true transformation begins.
Virtual Initial Session is 90 mins up to 2 hours. 28 day support via phone and email.

Conscious Coaching
Solution based creative and spiritual Life Coaching based on Jungian Psychology, an in-depth, analytical form of therapeutic process designed to bring together the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind to help a person feel balanced and whole.
Virtual Sessions Package (3 months) or (6 months), 55 mins weekly sessions plus email support.
